Recording artist, audio engineer and songwriter 3VAN (pronounced "three-VAN") has built a reputation for bringing a dependable work ethic and courageous attitude to the urban arts world. The Kitchener-raised artist has become a renowned figure for his ability to deliver personal yet relatable verses over genre-breaking, masterful production - all by his own hands.3VAN wields his musical talent as a way of remedying the loneliness suffered by victims by tragic and ill-fated circumstances, offering transparency about his own experiences while delivering assertive messages of hope and future triumph. As a faith-rooted individual focused on leaving a positive mark in the lives of others, 3VAN operates in a state of constant self-motivation to evolve his own sound and reach those who desperately need deliverance from the darkness around them.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Following his transition from producer to solo artist in 2022, 3VAN made a splash with his debut singles, SET IT IN MOTION and 93 DAYS, 18 WEEKS before entering into an 8-month tenureship with Cash Money Records' AMAG Collective, before departing to further develop his individual identity. Following three more singles in late 2024, 3VAN embarked on a new chapter with his debut EP, SOUNDS OF MY TESTIMONY, VOL. I. 2025 has seen 3VAN develop close professional relationships with Anthony Lee Jr.'s Light up the city movement and Wolftyla's Studio Starpop Collective.

INFLUENCES

3VAN has drawn influence from a plethora of musicians and performers over the course of his career from a variety of genres and styles. As a hip-hop and r&b-focused artist, his work mirrors the work of PARTYNEXTDOOR, 6LACK and NOBU WOODS for melodic productions, also leaning into the poignant lyricism and transparency of CONWAY THE MACHINE, FREDDIE GIBBS and JACK HARLOW. His production compliments the creations of these artists and also taps into the sonic landscapes of APHEX TWIN, C418 and ØNEHEART.
